♟️ GAUTENG CLOSED CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP — WE’VE MOVED! 📍
The entries are in, and the countdown to 17 October is on! As players prepare for the Gauteng Closed, please take note of our NEW VENUE.
Your safety comes first. Following safety concerns in the Kempton Park area, we decided to relocate the tournament so that players and families can look forward to the day with greater peace of mind.
St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls has warmly welcomed our chess community. With excellent security, ample parking and beautiful facilities, we’re delighted to have found this venue for an exciting day of chess.
Our sponsor, MoFaya, is also planning entertainment between rounds to help make this a tournament to remember! 🎉
