Gauteng Province Chess proudly congratulates all our Gauteng players who represented South Africa at the 2026 African Youth Chess Championships, held from 14–23 May in Entebbe, Uganda.
Competing on the African stage is a remarkable achievement. It takes courage, discipline, resilience and countless hours of preparation to perform at this level — and each of these players can be proud of the way they carried themselves, their province and their country.
